We want to take this opportunity to sincerely appreciate the incredible work you continue to do with our Sunday School children. Your dedication, patience, and love are shaping young hearts and establishing a strong foundation of faith for the next generation. Thank you for serving faithfully every week.

As we approach the Christmas season, one of our churches in Soshanguve shared a beautiful idea that we would love to adopt across all our local assemblies — a Christmas Gift Initiative for our Sunday School children.

Here’s how it works:

* Each child will be asked to bring an empty shoebox to church.

* Members of the church will be encouraged to donate between R20 and R30 towards the project.

* Pastor Philip, through the Sizanani fund, will add to what each church has contributed.

* The collected funds will be used to buy small Christmas gifts, sweets, stationery, and other goodies to fill each box.

* The gifts will then be wrapped beautifully and labeled for each child.

On the day of the celebration, we will:

* Organize fun activities such as jumping castles and games for the children.

* Prepare a special meal for all the kids to enjoy together.

* Tshepisong has already hosted the event; they can just share the gifts.

* Include a short Christmas program with songs, Bible verses, and a message about the birth of Jesus Christ — reminding every child of the greatest gift of all: God’s love through His Son.

This initiative will not only make Christmas special for our children but also teach them the spirit of giving, gratitude, and community.
